HA- HA- HA..ppy Birthday

First things first, to everyone assessmenting, Everything is going to be ok.

Now, on we go. Tomorrow, on Thursday, there’s going to be an excellent comedy night upstairs, come in for some great laughs from some excellent sydney comedians.

ALSO, coming up in the week of the 18th of may (i think it’s next week, week). The whitehouse is turning 1. Which we are pretty happy with. To celebrate we are passing on the presents to you, because without you guys the whitehouse is just an excellent empty building, full of toys and broken dreams. From free cupcakes in the morning, to high noon pinatas (potentially full of spiders) and plenty of schooners to go around, it’s going to be a party to remember.

So come down this week, on thursday in particular for comedy and stay through till next week for the party. It’s going to be the best.

Happy days loyal blog readers.

The one where we talk about the past, present and future

What up sneakers, have I got news for you…not really, but I’m sure we can cobble something together over the intervening paragraphs, before the giant reveal at the end, or is it in the middle…I DON’T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE, BETTER READ EVERYTHING.

We got a new artist in the stairwell gallery. The etchings of the very talented Cecelia Jackson. Check out her website for more of her works www.drawingwithoutaneraser.com.au

Following on from the extremely popular scotch tasting 3 weeks ago, we have a delicious wine and cheese night tonight in the whitehouse. $10 gets you more wine and cheese than you can poke a bloated belly from too much wine and cheese at.

The Iron President competition continues with 2 teams currently vying for the $500 Bar tab. Who will be the victor, Double Rainbow, or Two Kilomockingbird. Only time and challenges will tell.

Could it be time for the reveal…I think it is. The Whitehouse is almost 1 year old. Who would’ve thought that a year ago we’d be looking at glasses and worrying that construction wouldn’t be finished in time. NOT ME DEFINATELY. Well the week that ends on Friday May 18 is going to be so full of excellent activities, including, but not limited to pinatas, cupcakes and cheap beer (not in that order). So keep coming in, and the presents will fly your way.

JUST LIKE THE TERMINATOR FROM THE TERMINATOR FILMS, WE’RE BACK.

And just like our opening hours sign says, we’re open 8am-11pm.

WHOA! What’s that piling through the door, filling our chairs, playing our games (and packing them up neatly without losing any pieces)? It’s only customers, beautiful, money-spending, jibber-jabbering, socialising customers.

Now our tears of loneliness can become tears of joy as you guys fill our empty halls, and in doing so we have some exciting news:

-News Item The First: We have a new artist in the stairwell gallery. The beautiful and talented Laura Carey (COFA Graduate and in general Irish excellent person), come on in and have a look at her work.

-News Item The Second: The latest line up for the Whitehouse is out, IN EYE BLISTERING A2 poster format. Get your limited edition poster, and start collecting now.

-News Item The Third: We have a new safe full of games, and a new policy with game players: People who don’t pack up games lose fingers.

-News Item The Final: Finally in Week 2 Blitz, the first list for the Iron President Challenge, the semester long competition for a $500 bar tab. Stay tuned and see you soon blog lovers.

Have a great rest of the O-Week
